MEDELLIN a 2nd class coastal  Municipality located in the Northern part of the province of Cebu. It is 119 kilometres (74 mi) north from Cebu City. Just a 3 to 4 hours travel from Cebu City, this town had been labeled as the “sugar bowl of Cebu” due to the presence of a vast sugarcane fields in the town. Medellin town is famous for its “Funtastic Island” in Gibitngil a favorite tourist destination.

Medellin Town has also developed another tourist destination the Bamboo Forest. Bamboo Forest located in Barangay Luy-a Medellin besides a sugarcane plantation, just a 3 hours rides from Cebu City.

Bamboo Forest in Medellin Cebu.

Bamboo Forest theme is quite like of Kyoto Japan’s bamboo forest and K-Drama vibes altogether.

The place still undeveloped but already has a beautiful pathway with bamboo trees nicely line up.

The whole place has marvelous bamboo scenery that people like to take pictures with it as a background.

With just only a minimal entrance fee you can spend your whole day capturing pictures of its marvelous bamboo scenery.
