PayMaya now Maya, is a popular electronic wallet which is powered by digital payments company PayMaya Philippines, Inc. PayMaya is an online payment account, use to remit and receive money as well payments for purchases online. Paymaya allows users to shop online without a credit card or bank account.

PayMaya acts as a virtual prepaid cards, where the users can cash in/ cash out in pawnshops /convenience stores, mall and can purchase anything online. Paymaya is powered by Maya Bank, Inc. and is Regulated by the BSP, so it’s safe to use.

How to Create PayMaya Account

• Go to the Playstore App (for android users) or App Store (for iPhone users) and search for the PayMaya app.
• Download and install PayMaya app.
• Open the app. Click “agree and continue” after reading their data privacy statement.
• Choose “Create Account” on the log-in page
• Fill in the registration details.
• Click “agree” to express that you accept their Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
• A mobile verification code will be send to your registered mobile number for device authentication.
• Enter the mobile verification code that is  sent to your registered mobile
• Click proceed to complete the account creation

That’s it! You already have a PayMaya account!

Reminder: Your PayMaya account number is the mobile number you registered.

Since you already have created a paymaya account it’s best to upgrade your account to enjoy all features of Paymaya such as bigger cash in and spending limits, able to send cash to others people and can can withdraw cash in any BancNet ATM in the Philippines .

Steps in upgrading your Paymaya Account.

1. Log in to your Maya account.

2. On your Maya app, tap Menu  “Upgrade my Account” Menu and click  “Next”.

3. Take a photo of your valid ID and upload it.

4. Record and submit a selfie video following the instructions onscreen.

5. Fill out the required Personal Information. Input your name, birthdate, and other details and make sure that they match the information reflected in your ID

6. Review you application . Click submit if all information is accurate.

You will receive an SMS confirmation within 24 hours and see a “Completed/ Upgraded Account” tag on your profile screen once your upgrade application is approved.

Cash In Steps in Maya

1. Add money to your PayMaya account through partner merchants. (Not upgraded account).  You can load your account by visiting PayMaya partner merchants such as
   • Business centers of SM, Robinsons, and other supermarkets;
   • Ministop and 7-Eleven convenience store;
   • Pawnshops;
   • Bayad Centers;
   • Partner banks using online or mobile banking
2. Load Money from your linked bank account (Available for upgraded account only). 
   • Log in to your PayMaya app and click the “cash in” icon.
   • Tap “bank account” and transfer money from any of your linked bank accounts.
3. Load money from your debit or credit card (Available for upgraded account only).
   • Log in to your PayMaya app and click the “cash in” icon.
   • Tap “debit or credit card” option and transfer money from any of your linked “debit or credit card”

If you have not linked your Bank Accounts, Debit or Credit Cards Account yet choose “using new card” and follow the instructions given.
